Interims Audimax by Deuberzerkoenig Rimmel, Image by Henning Köpke FotografieThe Interims Audimax is a wooden lecture hall in Munich's Technical University that is finished with a facade of rough-cut spruce planks which appear to delicately ripple in the light. Architecture studio Deubzer Konig + Rimmel created the temporary structure to accommodate the University's growing number of students. Built with a limited budget—just 60% of normal building costs—the structure itself is simple, but the exterior is made up of an elegant undulating surface.1
