Back in April, Denmark-based DENNIS Design Center participated in Salone Milan with a temporary shop devoted to creativity, inspiration and design. The design center was located in a parking lot outside the fair and took inspiration from gas stations. Built from discarded shipping pallets, the pop-up service station was meant to "refuel" visitors to the furniture fair and to show how easy DIY furniture building was. While open, professional craftsman built furniture from the pallets and at the end, lucky fair-goers got to take home a piece home. Starting today, DENNIS Design Center is back at it again at Art Basel in Switzerland.
