living homes los altosLivingHomes announced this week that the U.S. Green Building Council (USGSB) certified a three-unit multifamily project in Los Altos, California as LEED Platinum. The development, located 40 miles south of San Francisco, is the first project of its kind to earn LEED Platinum certification and it boasts excellent indoor air quality, minimal environmental impact, and an airy, minimalist design. Designed by Ray Kappe, this development on the western edge of Silicon Valley shows that sustainable design and modern living are hardly mutually exclusive.1
