The Facade of China’s Zoomlion Headquarters Mimics Butterflies, Eagles and Frogs

The facade of <a href="http://www.zljt.com/">Zoomlion's new headquarters</a> in China will feature a flapping facade that mimics butterflies, eagles and swimming frogs. As a symbol of their commitment to sustainability and their unique and progressive brand, the industrial vehicle manufacturer commissioned <a href="http://www.amphibianarc.com/project.html?t=zoomlion">amphibianArc</a> to design a transforming facade for the firm's science park in Changsha, Hunan Province.

The northern end of the building resembles the flight of butterflies or eagles

The southern facade folds down to mimic a swimming frog

Zoomlion commissioned the transforming facade as a symbol of their commitment to sustainability
