Villa 921 by Harunatsu ArchiThis fantastic Villa921 house by Harunatsu Archi is nestled in the remote island of Iriomote-jima, and it's designed to weather the tropical typhoons common to the region. Architect Shoko Murakaji designed the home with a super-durable solid concrete structure, and a series of fasteners hold a protective screen in place so that residents can still open their windows during heavy rains or wind.1
