BuckleyGrayYeoman battled the challenge of designing the restaurant in a Grade II listed Victorian building in conjunction with the 1920s warehouse at its rear. Details in the Victorian portion of the remodel were restored through collaboration with conservation officers.

This shipping container houses the kitchen at the heart of the restaurant, and speaks to the traditional roots of the Nando’s Restaurant brand. Nando’s Restaurant was born in South Africa and the shipping container is commonly used throughout the country to house restaurants and shops.
