The Archive: Stunning Mirrored Art Studio Melts Into the Landscape

<a href="http://www.hlarchitecture.nl/" target="_blank">Bureau Lada</a> was commissioned by a contemporary artist to create this stunning mirrored studio, which reflects the beauty of its <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/nature/" target="_blank">natural surroundings</a>. Dubbed The Archive, the studio was created to provide a unique, functional site away from the city where the information and ideas could be 'archived'. The space is a serene retreat where observations and recordings of any kind, can be stored and contemplated.

The exterior of The Archive is completely covered in mirrors that reflect the world around it.

These reflections serve to conceal the space while maintaining privacy for the artist within.

The interior of The Archive is a spacious corridor fitted with shelves and hooks for the artist to 'archive' his work.

The building's large doors are practically invisible, although an interior garden can be seen through a transparent wall and a narrow opening.

The records are camouflaged by the reflective <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/green-facade/" target="_blank">facade</a>, creates a secretive storage place for private work.
