Country Estate by Roger Ferris + Partners<a href="http://www.ferrisarch.com" target="_blank">Roger Ferris + Partners</a> recently renovated the Philip Johnson-designed Wiley House, seeking to maintain the integrity of the original structure while adding some modern touches. The landmark <a href="http://www.ferrisarch.com/res_galnc.html" target="_blank">‘Country Estate,’</a> which is located in New Canaan, CT, includes a pool house, a private gallery and a garage. In addition to updating and restoring the existing structures, the architects designed a minimalist art gallery that was built on the foundation of a 19th-century barn on the property.1
