‘Flux Cocoon’ Made From 3,600 Red LED Lights Wraps Around a Bridge in Lausanne, Switzerland

    During the dark winter months many cities around the globe unveil stunning public installations that lift spirits with glowing lights. The Swiss city of Lausanne is currently celebrating the <a title="Flux Cocoon is a 3,600 Foot Display of Red LED Neon Lights Glowing in Lausanne " href="http://www.festivallausannelumieres.ch/" target="_blank">Lausanne Lumières Festival </a>, and one of the most striking installations is a gigantic red knot made from 3,600 <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/led/" target="_blank">LED</a> lights. Created by architecture and design studio <a title="Flux Cocoon is a 3,600 Foot Display of Red LED Neon Lights Glowing in Lausanne " href="http://www.allegory.ch/fr/news/index.php" target="_blank">Allegory</a>, the "Flux Cocoon" wraps around a bridge where it serves as a brilliant node between two pedestrian paths.
