Scrapped Ambulance Transformed into Inspiring Playground for Disabled Children in Malawi

Malawi-based <a href="http://www.sakaramenta.com/">Sakaramenta</a> specializes in creating business opportunities with a social bent - and their latest project has made several children very happy. They worked with Dutch designers <a href="http://www.pimvanbaarsen.com/">Pim van Baarsen</a> and <a href="http://www.lucvanhoeckel.nl/">Luc van Hoeckel</a> to build an amazing <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/recycled-materials/">recycled</a> playground from a scrapped ambulance in a former parking lot beside the BEIT Cure hospital in Blantyre. Best of all, the playground is completely accessible to disabled children.

This wonderful new playground is located in Malawi.
