British Columbia-based <a href="http://hinterlanddesign.com/">Hinterland</a> creates these beautiful <a href="http://hinterlanddesign.com/collection/nurselog">Nurselogs</a> from salvaged wood and recycled glass planter inserts. The pendants have a plain wood surface until the light is flipped on - at which point they glow with intricately etched patterns.
    8

Dinosaur attack! <a href="http://inhabitat.com/japanese-company-shows-off-the-worlds-first-paper-robot-and-cool-cardboard-animals-at-icff/">Inhabitat favorite</a> <a href="http://d-torsoshop.com/en/">D-Torso</a> turned heads left and right with a gigantic 3D T-Rex made from cardboard.
