Stockholm-based Ulf Mejergren Architects designed a beautiful mini-city made from sticks which would be built by 100 kids during a scout camp workshop in New Hampshire. The city would be made up of several mini-skyscrapers connected by blocks, different seating elements and stairs used by visitors to navigate the complex. It was shortlisted as a finalist in the Beam Camp Competition, which organized the workshop.

If the concept wins the competition, this intricate structure will be built by kids attending a workshop in the UK this summer.

The project is planned like a regular-sized city, on a grid of 11 x 11 blocks, with each block being a 2-foot high-plywood crate measuring 3 x 3-feet wide.

The kids could use these boxes as basis for the skyscrapers.
