The project was commissioned by Singapore-based property developers Aroland Holdings and will sit in the middle of a cluster of skyscrapers in the financial district. In the basement, 1,800 square meters of restaurants and shops will keep the building bustling 7 days a week – a nice change from the usual business building, which is abandoned on the weekends. The parking will include 1,500 bicycle spaces.

The exterior of the building will have a diamond-patterned series of bronze struts, and a pair of criss-crossing escalators will further emphasize this pattern on the ground level. The architects will submit for planning approval in 2016.
