The Barcelona apartment’s original layout had two bedrooms facing the façade, while the rest of the rooms and corridors faced an internal patio. The architects kept the two front bedrooms and knocked the rest of the walls down to make the interior more open plan. The cubic kitchen was designed almost like a piece of furniture, generating a loft at the top to be used as a study or guest room.

An elevated bathroom floor creates storage room underneath. Placing the existing bathtub under the shower and combining their functions created additional space. And last but not least is the balcony, which was turned into a sweet indoor and outdoor space using bright green Venetian window blinds.
