Located near a busy road, Siglap Plain was designed as a contemporary reconstruction of a small bungalow. Thick concrete walls and landscaping protect the home from traffic noise, while beautifully crafted solid teak screens from Bali add a stunning visual contrast and filter harsh light. Designed like a work of art, the juxtaposition of materials and angular lines make the facade “an intriguing visual delight” that can be enjoyed by drivers, passengers, and passersby from the nearby bus stop.
