• Elkamii Peliships floating shelves Three
Where most people see random wood scraps, Elkamii sees the perfect medium for crafting artistic shelving. Inspired to reduce waste, both spatially and environmentally, the Brooklyn-based shop has created a set of shelves called Peliships that appear to simply float against a wall. Peliships are just a part of what we'll see from Elkamii at BKLYN Designs 2014 - read on to sneak a peek at their other offerings!

• Elkamii Shoe Bench
Peliships aren’t the only elegant piece of space saving furniture Elkamii makes. Another delightful creation this Brooklyn collaborative design consultancy has made is the Curved Bench.. It’s the perfect shoe bench to place in your foyer to sit down and put on your shoes. What’s more, the bench features an integrated shoe rack underneath. The bench itself meanwhile is made of a variety of woods including a bent plywood board, topped with a maple veneer, and solid walnut leg.

• Elkamii Bird Bookends
Beyond wood Elkamii also works with metal to create its elegant Birds Bookends. Laser cut from steel and treated with a colored powder coating, these solid, industrial-made bookends are sure to keep your books from falling over. At the same time they create the simple imagery of a forest or garden.
