Writing Pavilion by ArchitensionsA tiny but cozy writer's haven has popped up in the corner of a lush garden in Brooklyn. Local design firm Architensions created the Writing Pavilion, a light-filled writer's studio for a pair of creatives. With simple furnishings meant to minimize distractions, the 50-square-foot timber-clad structure is punctuated by glazed openings that bring in natural light and frame views of the outdoors.1

Writing Pavilion by Architensions“The pavilion’s sectional shape acts as a device to bring natural light inside, and induces optimal conditions for the human eye,” says Architensions. “The specific phenomenological conditions of this retreat space make ideas come to life through a synthesis of material and spatial imagination.”6
