Gotham Greens opens 60,000-sq-ft rooftop farm atop former toy company in Hollis, Queens

Everyone's favorite urban agriculture company, Gotham Greens, has opened up their third and largest New York City rooftop greenhouse in Hollis, Queens.

The massive rooftop installation spans over 60,000 square feet and will help the Brooklyn-based company triple their high-quality, pesticide-free produce production in the New York region.

Slated to produce over 5 million heads of pesticide-free leafy greens each year for the New York market, the greenhouse was installed with advanced automated greenhouse technologies using various efficient and renewable energy components.
