Adobe Utah Campus, WRNS Studio, RAPT Studio, leed gold, eco office, green campus, lehi, utah

Located about half an hour south of Salt Lake City in Lehi, UT is Adobe’s new campus. Situated right next to I-15 and public transit, the center is centrally located between major population centers and a highly educated working class from the Provo area. Views of the Utah valley spread out in front of the 38 acre campus with the Wasatch Mountains directly in the background. The goal of the campus was to create a space with lots of energy to foster creative work. Adobe also wanted to create a strong connection with the outdoors. They achieved this with lots of drought tolerant outdoor garden space, a glass curtain wall envelope with views to the mountains and valley and access to daylight for everyone.

The contemporary campus opened for business in November of 2012 with one of the three long linear buildings and shared amenities building. The eco office also includes café, fitness center, basketball court, a rock climbing wall and a central gathering atrium with tables, billiards, ping pong and more. Flexible and open spaces encourage collaboration and the central atrium acts as the heart of the project. The campus won’t be complete until the other two buildings are complete. WRNS Studio, RAPT Studio and Adobe are targeting LEED Gold certification, which includes the use of energy efficient heat exchangers that pull heat from data servers to help warm the building.
