
The artists have taken the repurposed tires and converted them into eye-catching designs displayed on street walls, stairways and ramps in a former industrial part of town called Sant Martí. The strategic placement of the installations were meant to bring new vibrancy to the area’s long-forgotten urban landscape.

According to the artistic trio, in addition to finding a creative use for the highly-problematic non-recyclable material, the main objective of the project is to “go beyond the formal limits of the wall and the architecture. They play with the physical works as well as the intuition of what’s behind the walls that limit them.”
