I went to BKLYN Designs this weekend and I must say that the exhibition was even better this year than last. The show featured 55 different Brooklyn designers this year, bringing back old faves like Scrapile and BraveSpace, as well as adding plenty of hot new up-and-comers like EverySpace and ObjectInteriors.
Below are some quick pics so far, for all of my photos from the event, check out my Flickr feed photostream:

This gorgeous “arrange” shelf/vase by EverySpace design is one of my favorite things I saw yesterday. Such a simple idea, yet so lovely.
Another favorite from yesterday was this beautiful green cabinet made by BOA of ObjectInteriors. Every element in the gorgeous cabinet is environmentally sustainable: it’s made from Kirei board, recycled paper and recycled steel. I want one of these!
Brooklyn design duo The Design Can never ceases to impress with their cute takes on homewares. I LOVE this neo-baroque blackbird mirror.

Old Brooklyn favorites Scrapile and BraveSpace both have released brand new designs at this show.
Designer Andrea Claire merges photographs into traditional cylindrical lamps to create these stunning light pieces.
Real kids, such as Max here, seemed to love Igloo’s kids furniture. Kid tested, mother approved..
Uhuru Design’s beautiful 100% recycled stoolen chair.
