Exclusive home tours of some of the area’s most stunning residences will be available on the West side, South Bay, and Midtown & East Side regions of Los Angeles, and thousands of modern design products will be on view from a wide array of exhibitors. Industry visitors will also have the opportunity to partake in several Continuing Education Sessions (CES) that span nearly every discipline from trade partners such as the AIA, ASID, IIDA, NKBA, NAHB, AWA+D, ASLA, APLD, SFC, USGBC and more.
This year’s event is expected to draw over 30,000 visitors from around the world to celebrate modern design in a space that will be sure to amaze, delight and inspire. Over 250 design industry experts will speak on topics such as Design for Humankind, Smart Tech, Resiliency, and Energy 360 with presenters including KCRW and DnA: Design & Architecture host Frances Anderton; Fab Founder Bradford Shellhammer; Musician Moby; and the winner of HGTV’s Ellen’s Design Challenge Designer Katie Stout.
Dwell on Design’s 2015 keynote address will be delivered by famed Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, whose visionary designs are encompassed by a goal to “create an environment of love”. Wanders has been the creative mind behind over 1,700 products and he continues to inspire a forward-thinking desire to connect, communicate and push boundaries.
