Fisker Automotive’s Karma EV just set two new world records at a recent event at the Floriade Horticultural World Expo in Venlo, Netherlands. Fisker now holds the the world record for the highest number of single-brand electric vehicles to be charged simultaneously and the highest number of mixed-brand electric vehicles to be charged simultaneously.
Fisker Nederland -Fisker Automotive’s most successful European representative, with more than 130 Karmas sold since January 2012 – organized the event on Sunday, September 2. Sixty 240-volt charge points were temporarily installed for the occasion. The “Floriade” expo focuses on innovation and the sustainable relationship between man and nature; this year’s show focuses on how to return to nature and how to learn from it. The “Good Karma Day” pas part social gathering and part charity event for Dutch Fisker Karma owners — for every Karma sold by Fisker Nederland a donation was made to the Eugène Janssen Foundation to support African children living in dire circumstances.

Fisker also recently held an an owner appreciation day at its headquarters in Anaheim, CA where a 28 Fisker Karma caravan drove down Pacific Coast Highway to Newport Beach.
