The building houses a shopping center above which are 81 apartments. It has a green roofpopulated with 84 different plant species some of which were cultivated from seeds collected in the natural habitats around Fornebu. This is meant to support local biodiversity and provide beautiful views to the residents of the apartments above the roof.

The building scored high in all of theBREEAM categories. It achieved 67 percent in the Material category and 100 percent in Landscape and ecology and Management. Most major surface materials used n the construction of the building are low carbon emitting. All of the material waste was reused as new materials or for energy. The actual amount of energy the building consumes is 60 percent lower compared to the regulatory level.
