British designer Jess Shaw enjoys making imaginative, emotional lighting from all sorts of unusual materials. On past designs she has included goose and cock feathers, wire and rubber, in addition to a suite of other decontextualized materials. Her latest design, Lily Light, is a gorgeous chandelier made from bloomed willow that brings the countryside into any room.

Jess Shaw creates all kinds of unique designs, which have been showcased previously at the V&A, the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford and the Musée Rodin in Paris. Her biodegradable woven chandelier was designed especially for this year’s Tent London exhibition that took place during the bustling London Design Festival.
