We are completely in love with Sam Booth's playful new tiny homes. The minimalist ECHO eco pods are tidy custom-built modular shelters built with certified sustainable materials. Affordable, contemporary, and adaptable to just about any environment, the fully self-sustaining pods would make a great off-grid office or garden shelter, or a cool holiday home in a remote landscape.
ECHO’s flexible homes are made from 100-sq-ft prefab modules and feature a distinctive pyramid roof that lets natural light flow inside. They can stand-alone as a simple garden room, or link to other modules to create additional space for guests, a studio or a cool teenage hangout. They are mainly built from sustainable wood and feature strong ecological credentials within its simple but modern design.
The eco pods stand on a wooden platform with adjustable legs that barely touch the ground and feature minimal foundations to reduce their environmental impact. Ideal for remote locations, they can be completely off grid with all heating, lighting and power supplied by solar PV or solar thermal panels integrated on its roof. They are also completely customizable, allowing owners to chose between different layouts, interior finishes, type of insulation and external cladding to suit everyone’s tastes and needs.
