The actor and environmentalist was seen with fellow Citi Bike enthusiast Lukas Haas and a tall, blond lady friend. The trio undocked bikes from a station located in front of the popular Cafe de La Esquina restaurant in Williamsburg and rode away into the sunset, or rather, in the direction of Sunset Park.
In addition to choosing to pedal around town autonomously instead of being chauffeured around in a gas-guzzling SUV, we have to applaud Leo for his simple and practical wardrobe choices. Despite his mega-celeb status, the actor decided to don the same newsie cap he almost always wears when he rides as well as a basic baseball tee and cargo shorts. While he wasn’t wearing a helmet, he did have a handy fanny pack for easy, hands-free riding.
