California real estate investment group City Ventures has recently announced the grand opening of Round Barn, a new townhome community that is composed of eco-friendly, solar-powered residences in Santa Rosa’s historic Fountaingrove neighborhood. Located about an hour-and-a-half north of San Francisco at the gateway of the Russian River Valley, Round Barn offers 237 farmhouse-style luxury townhomes with prices that start in the high $500,000s.
The grand opening of Round Barn, which took place on September 26, has unfortunately coincided with the nearby Glass Fire, an ongoing wildfire in Northern California that broke out on September 27 and has since razed dozens of homes across Santa Rosa. According to NBC, the Fountaingrove neighborhood remains on high alert for wildfire.
City Ventures was initially drawn to the area due to Sonoma County’s famously temperate weather and the region’s easy access to area trails and network of bike paths. Round Barn was designed to tap into the area’s many advantages with an indoor/outdoor design approach. The townhouses feature enclosed porches, courtyards and second-floor decks. Common areas include outdoor gathering areas, a large community pool, hot tub and playground area. The community is also in close proximity to downtown Santa Rosa and the Russian River Valley, where highly ranked restaurants, tasting rooms, schools and other activities are located.
Round Barn offers a variety of floor plans and customizable options to cater to different buyers looking for flexibility. Solar panels power the all-electric homes’ needs. As a luxury development, every townhome comes equipped with hand-set tub and shower tile walls, Bosch EnergyStar appliances, energy-saving induction cooktops, a hybrid water heater with heat pump technology, Schlage keyless entries, internet-connected advanced home technology and the Nest thermostat. Information for virtual tours can be found on City Venture’s Round Barn website.
