Our Bright Ideas Lighting Design Competition is nearing its end, but the battle for the best is still raging on. In fact, Carolyn Joan Lau’s Nourishment Lamp has just shot to the top of the pack, with more than 900 votes (and counting)! The honeycomb-like lamp made from plastic bottles has pulled ahead of Ed Chew’s geometric Tetra Pak Origami Lamp made from used juice boxes and Andrea Carvajal’s delicate Blowfish Lamp created with clear plastic tubes. Many of you have already voted, but there is still time to get your friends to help push your favorite lamp into the lead (voting closes next Tuesday, June 14). Which green design will reign supreme? You decide, so vote now!
