If you live in the city and always dreamt about having your own treehouse, take a look at these delightful structures. 'Somewhere Small' is a series of 25 miniature tree houses built around houseplants by artist Jedediah Corwyn Voltz. They are crafted from tiny bits of scrap wood, fabric and semi precious stones to bring the treehouse dream indoors.
LA-based artist Jedediah Corwyn Voltz works as a full-time prop builder for films but he still finds time to dedicate to his passion of building intricate treehouses around potted plants. His miniature artworks are constructed with pieces of scrap balsa and basswood, random fabrics and semi-precious stones that add a mysterious charm.
The multilevel huts are carefully designed to avoid interfering with the succulents and cacti’s growth. Voltz’s collection now exceeds 25 unique treehouses, some of which come complete with tiny watchtowers in secluded forests, treetop meditation platforms and giant windmills and waterwheels.
