If you’re one of those pet owners who believes their fur babies should live in a palace, the people at Poopy Cat have got your back. Their “Landmark” recycled cardboard playhouses will let your pet explore the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, or the White House - right in your living room.
Originally constructed for cats and their known affinity for cardboard boxes, the Landmark playhouses have been tested and approved by all sorts of small critters, including guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, and small dogs. Each of the seven playhouses features a different historical landmark from around the globe with a simple but vibrant print and an easy-to-assemble design.
Why cardboard boxes? The question has been asked for years and the designers suspect the security, stress relief, and optimal “hunting” hideout features attract kitties the most. Featuring beautiful landmark designs, like the Taj Mahal or the Sphinx, Poopy Cat dresses up plain old boxes to add to human owners’ decor. Yet, each design features some sort of play element for pets, as well, such as tassels or hanging compartments for treats.
Each Landmark playhouse is constructed from 100 percent recycled cardboard and is fully biodegradable. Water-based inks make for animal-safe illustrations and the designers guarantee the strength of the double-layered cardboard to last for even the most rambunctious play. By pledging to Poopy Cat’s Kickstarter campaign, you can become one of the first owners of a Landmark playhouse, as well as play an important role in future designs for the company.
