Located at the side of Brooker’s home in East Rudham, this 100-foot-long mythical beast sitting comfortably near the road took ten years to complete. A retired fan maker, Brooker said his inspiration might have been from his army days in Malasya.

The husband of a gardener, Booker used to cut the lawn and trim the hedge to help out his wife. But then one day he was standing at the kitchen window and realized his hedge was looking kind of boring. So he decided to turn it into a dragon, going through four electric hedge trimmers and a couple of stepladders in the process. His resulting creation is definitely the talk of the town (and now the internet!)
