The openers are available in a variety of mini skateboard deck shapes, and are based on the technique of opening a bottle with the side edge of a Bic lighter. If you have not used this opening technique before, don’t worry, there are illustrated directions included. Podlaski insists that “like skateboarding, you must practice to get better!”

Since the keychains are made from boards that are being diverted from landfills, each one is completely unique in its graphics. And just like a full sized skateboard, these mini versions will wear with use, making them all the more personal.

You can check out the available styles of the bottle opener keychains, as well Deckstool’s other amazing works of skateboard art, through the Deckstool Esty store.
