Gallery: Archive: Super Shiny Pavilion For Artists Reflects Its Own Env...

This super shiny, reflective pavilion was part of a larger installation for artists' studios back in 2009 at the Stichting Nieuw en Meer in Amsterdam. With its rugged, hard, reflective surface and soft, organic interior, the fortress like studio is perfect for the modern day artist and archivist. Secret compartments and storage spaces are built into the ring-like building and hidden mirror doors keep out unwanted guests. Blending into its environment, Archive, designed by DHL Architecture for the Atelier Malkovich exhibition was one of 8 art studios built at half-size scale.
