Gallery: Christopher Boffoli Creates Edible Larger-Than-Life Food Lands...

Photo © Christopher Boffoli

Christopher Boffoli´s photographs celebrate the inner beauty of food in every detail, color and texture. You can almost taste the happy, sweet memories of the past, when most of us weren´t allowed to play with our food. An apple cake becomes a building site, cornets are turned into Tipi Tents, and white and dark chocolate becomes the perfect site for hard-rock excavation.

Based in Seattle, Boffoli uses macro lenses and soft lighting techniques to capture his amazing images. Big Appetites celebrates the tremendous variety of food available today, and the series is sure to instill a renewed sense of wonder for the bounty of the standard kitchen pantry.

    Thanks Inhabitat!

If you’re in New York City or London, please be sure to check out my shows which are running for the duration of the summer. It’s one thing to see my work online. But they make more of a statement when you see them in person, in large format!

At Winston Wächter Fine Art in New York (530 West 25th Street in NYC’s Chelsea) and through a special arrangement with London’s Flaere gallery at Liberty in Regent Street.

There’s more information about the series on my website:
