Preserving the historical integrity of the Jaffa apartment was essential, so great care was taken to maintain both the exterior and interior stone. To give the apartment a more modern flair, stainless steel, iron and Corian were incorporated into the building’s partitions and openings, as well as in the furniture. Lovely black-rimmed windows let in all kinds of natural light, which combined with the sandstone’s superior thermal property gives this program that final sustainable edge!
