STEP 3: Waldo’s Glasses

Thick rimmed glasses have been all the rage the last few years. You can easily find a pair at your local thrift store. If there are prescription lenses set in the frames, simply pop them out!Thick rimmed glasses have been all the rage the last few years, and you can easily find a donated pair at your local thrift store. If there happens to be prescription lenses set in the frames, simply pop them out!

STEP 4: Waldo’s Accessories

Next comes the fun part – dig through your closet and see how many pieces of Waldo’s traveling kit you can find. A camera is a great functional accessory to bring along for the evening (bonus points if it has a bit of old-fashioned charm). A tin cup makes a handy (reusable) vessel for late-night libations, and a camp pack or satchel gives you an extra bit of carrying capacity. You probably won’t be needing a snorkel or a shovel, but we won’t judge you for going all-out.

That’s it! Now pull on a pair of jeans or navy pants and find some crowds to get lost in – and don’t forget to submit your finished costume to our Green Halloween Costume Contest!
