Does the roller-ball meet the current CPSIA requirements for lead content so that it can be used by children age 12 and under? Also, how long will thee pens be useable if they start degrading upon manufacture?

With respect to biodegradation, the DBA pens have been carefully designed so that they will not begin the process of breaking down until placed in an active microbial environment such as soil or a composting facility.
