Photoclima, a new photography book project produced by Greenpeace Spain, is a call to action for countries globally to examine and address the impact of global warming and climate change both locally and internationally. Photoclima features the eye-opening photographs of Pedro Armestre and Mario Gómez as a means to highlight the varied topography and rich landscape of Spain’s agricultural, coastal resort, and national park ecosystems. The beauty of the book’s images is subverted by a series of before and after photomontage shots of regions that might be impacted by catastrophic environmental alterations.

what happened? why i dont see here the usual comment saying global warming its a hoax and that this is all part of the socialist agenda.
are the skeptics finally understanding the real damage we are doing to our planet?
BLDGBLOG had a really interesting article on these images a couple of weeks ago or so. Effectively he argued that many members of the public look at images like these and see it as an adventure, an exciting new world of flooded cities… Instead of being scared and put off, they found the whole idea exciting. What you don’t see from these images is the mass migration, wars, starvation, plagues of illnesses and natural disasters that this level of climate change would create…
Anyway, as I say, it’s a really interesting article, definitely worth a look:
