Hiroshi Nakamura and NAP Architects’ New Green-Roofed Tokyo Plaza Features a Dizzying Kaleidoscopic Entrance

The public space is designed to offer shoppers a place to relax, and the lush terrace features plenty of trees, tables and steps where people can meet, sit and enjoy a meal. One of the urban oasis' most eye-catching features is the&nbsp;kaleidoscope-like escalator entrance, which is made from dozens of tilted mirrors.

    The entrance to Tokyu Plaza Omotesando is through a kaleidoscope-like tunnel that reflects fashionable visitors in a dazzling effect.

    The roof garden’s heart has an hexagonal communal table with trees sprouting and a glazed core that lets the light and come out through the building’s kaleidoscope entrance.
