Gallery: HOW TO: Make Your Own Upcycle...

Headphones are a gadget staple these days for almost everyone, but there are only so many times you can untangle them after pulling them out of your pocket or bag as a clump before you go crazy. Stay sane by crafting your very own headphone keeper made out of a vintage wooden thread spool. In less than an hour with just a few tools, you'll be winding your way to a happy listening experience at a super low cost. No longer will you spend minutes pulling apart the intricate knots that your cord has diabolically wound itself into -- and you'll keep your earbuds in fine shape for much longer!

Materials

- Old wooden thread spool (at least 1 in wide) - Drill - Large drill bit - Smaller drill bit - Utility knife or other sharp knife - Pencil - Table vice or clamp (optional) - Earbuds
