Loch Ness Glamping Provides Cozy Eco Camping Pods for Monster Watching & Outdoor Adventure

    If you've ever dreamed of spotting <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loch_Ness_Monster" target="_blank">Nessie</a>, then we've found a great launch spot from which to base your monster-watching adventures. <a href="http://www.lochnessglamping.co.uk/" target="_blank">Loch Ness Glamping</a> is set near Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness, and it offers up luxe and cozy camping accommodations in eco camping pods. These "Armadillas," as they are called, are tiny wooden shelters with a bathroom and convertible benches that turn into beds. The B&amp;B accommodations serve up local and organic breakfasts or you can cook for yourself in the parkland campsite.

    The camping style accommodations are offered up at hostel prices, but provide a bit more luxury and comfort than your typical tent.

    Starting at £55.00 per night for 2 people, you can stay in one of the many "Armadillas".

    The larch-clad wooden shelters look like an upside down wooden boat each with seating that converts into a bed, an en-suite with fridge, tea-making facilities and LCD TV with DVD, and a bathroom.

    A small porch area expands living space outdoors and underfloor heating provides warmth on chillier nights. A giant round window on the far side provides light and views.
