Gallery: Min Day’s Wedge House is a Giant Red Doorstopper Shaped Home

While it may not be made of gingerbread like the miniature home we featured for the holidays, this real-life version of the Wedge House is still pretty darn sweet. The minimalistic house was designed for a site in Phippsburg, Maine by Min | Day and appears on the landscape as a delightful wedge shape in an eye-catching red. In addition to its simple good looks, the three-bedroom house was designed thoughtfully, and uses structural insulated panels and stack-effect cooling to reduce energy consumption year-round.
