Pryor Modular ResidenceA beautiful modular vacation home in Montauk recently took home an AIA NY State 2010 Merit Award. Designed by Bates Masi Architects of Sag Harbor, the home was envisioned as an upscale tent in the woods with large floor to ceiling sliding glass doors to let nature in. Not only is it an attractive home, but it's got a number of green features to tack on its resume, like prefabricated construction, daylighting, geothermal heating and cooling, solar heating and organic finishes.1
