New Yorkers can now make their <a href="http://inhabitat.com/formlabs-creates-low-cost-high-quality-3d-printer-that-fits-on-a-desktop/" target="_blank">3D-printing dreams</a> come true at NoHo’s new <a href="http://www.makerbot.com/" target="_blank">MakerBot Industries</a> outpost. Opened last week, the Mulberry Street shop sells a bevy of goods made by the <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/get-your-own-3d-printing-machine-at-makerbots-new-retail-store-in-manhattan/" target="_blank">MakerBot</a>, as well as the futuristic machines themselves. We stepped into the modern shop the other day to grab some photos - check out our gallery to get a peek inside.

Straight out of Back to the Future, <a href="http://inhabitat.com/the-makerbot-replicator-2-brings-desktop-3d-printing-to-homes-and-small-businesses/" target="_blank">The MakerBot Replicator 2</a> is small enough to fit on a desk top, and perfect for engineers, inventors or people who like to make things!

With several set up around the shop, visitors can watch as models are printed right before their very eyes- on the day we visited they were printing <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/gamine-gallery-is-a-gorgeous-green-williamsburg-shoppe-featuring-reclaimed-wood-furnishings/" target="_blank">yellow linked bracelets</a>, as well as an architectural model.

The store is stocked with PLA plastic in every color.

Each of the MakerBot Replicator 2s print at a 100-micron layer resolution, making smoother lines than before in colorful renewable <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioplastic" target="_blank">bioplastic PLA</a> filament.

Visitors to the store can also nab a mini 3D printed sculpture from one of the vending machines that flank the store.

Buyers can order programs to print over 28,000 different objects, and also contribute their own.

Among the objects displayed at the store are <a href="http://inhabitat.com/solar-powered-stone-spray-3d-printer-robot-creates-entire-buildings-from-sand/" target="_blank">3D printed shoes</a>, frog and arthropod sculptures, watches, cassette tapes and even a replica of a statue from the Metropolitan Museum of Art- created with the MakerBot iPhone app!

The amazing store is staffed with MakerBot experts who are happy to show customers everything the machine can do.
