Located on 19 forested acres in Saranac, New York, the home appears to be a serene mountain escape at first glance. The “surface home” is an open 1,800 square foot lodge with hardwood floors, a wrap-around porch and ample skylights that fill the home with sunlight.     I don’t understand why Inhabitat thinks this property is newsworthy. It’s just some super-big, super-expensive property with a weird architecture on a weird site. I thought Inhabitat was supposed to be about green and clean???

    Very cool facility – would love to explore it.

    But “paranoia?” I think not since the location is no longer secret. A key value of this place would have been its hidden location.
