Pabellon Desconectados: Brilliant Sustainable Pavilion Lights Up Like a Jewel

    Plan B Arquitectos was commissioned to build a <a href="http://inhabitat.com/candy-colored-copenhagen-pavilion-made-of-reclaimed-plexiglass/">temporary, mobile open-air pavilion</a> for Expocamacal 2010 in <a href="http://inhabitat.com/flowing-medellin-sports-coliseum-keeps-its-cool-with-a-laser-cut-facade/">Medellín, Colombia</a>. Their solution was the brilliant Pabellon Desconectados -- a luminous building made from sustainable materials that shines like a jewel at night. A flexible floor plan allows the pavilion to be used for a variety of activities and after the fair ended, the pavilion was expected to be donated.
