Hayes’ Nocturne” features two pieces- Slug and Egg. Each terrarium sculpture is cast from milky iridescent acrylic and hand blown glass. Slug stretches and seems to slither in a globby, horizontal trail, fifteen feet along the wall in MoMA’s atrium outside of the gift shop.

    Makes a great piece of art and brings the natural environment inside a space. I would just be afraid that if I travel this would turn into a desert. (:-))

    Great ideas. But let’s channel the energy and creativity towards preserving actual Nature that is left.
