Gallery: Stay the Night in Your Choice of Hobbit Hotel, Recycled Ship S...

Dubbed the Waitanic, this block of accommodations is inside a WWII Fairmile Ship that was built in 1942 in Auckland.

Woodlyn Park began as a humble working farm but has now blossomed into a resort complete with four unique -and when we say unique, we mean unique – types of lodging, a restaurant and bar and a stage arena. The resort is only 700 meters from the area’s Waitomo Caves Village and just 2 minutes from the famous glow worm caves. In addition to the fact that most of the accommodations have been recycled, the hobbit hotel was built with an insulating material that gives it added warmth in the winter and keeps it cool during the summer.
