ESGE Ecole Secondaire de Genolier by IPASIPAS has given the ESGE Secondary School in Switzerland a sustainable upgrade and a fun tetris facade. Since the original school is surrounded by forest, the designers made sure that the new facilities would have a minuscule footprint and a playful design that enhances the learning experience. Very few trees had to be cleared to accommodate the new building, which is connected to the original by a glass bridge on the second floor, and different colored rooms inside help guide children to their light-filled classrooms.1
